Please note that all of my original artworks are sent from Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia.

COVID-19 is currently impacting delivery times worldwide, which will likely cause delays in the delivery of your new artwork.

Original Artwork

All artwork is original and created by myself, artist Joelene Mitchell. Most of my art is produced from my own reference photos. Where I have used someone else’s original photo as a reference, permission has been sought from them first.

To create your artworks, I only use quality materials to ensure that the artwork you purchase is of high quality.

Being environmentally thoughtful, I will endeavour to use recycled materials for shipping, when possible.

As an artist I work by myself at home, juggling family and work commitments. Due to varnish curing time, packaging and coordinating delivery of your artwork, it may take 10 working days before your artwork is ready to ship.

Works on paper will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube.
Works on gallery wrapped canvas under 60cm width or length will be sent on the stretcher bars within Australia.
Works over 60cm in length or depth will be removed from the stretcher bars and mailed in a sturdy tube. This is to reduce the risk of damage to the artwork during transit and is also much more cost effective. The purchaser will be responsible for coordinating a local framer to fit the canvas back on a stretcher bar.

Mock Up of the Artwork in Your Home

If you would like to see a mock up of what the artwork would look like in your home, please email myself to coordinate this at no cost.

You will be required to cut a piece of paper to 11 inches long and stick it to the wall which you would like to see a mock of the art in. You will then be required to send through a photo of the wall with the paper taped to the wall.

Insurance, Customs and Duties Fees

If you require insurance on your parcel, please contact myself at joelenemitchellartist@gmail.com to discuss options.

Insurance costs will be over and above the price you paid at the checkout.

There are some countries where we are unable to provide insurance on parcels, however I will endeavour to work with you to ensure the parcel is sent with a reputable courier service.

For international orders, I am not responsible for any fees charged in regards to any customs or duty fees associated with the shipping fees.

Responsibility of Delivery Address

I play close attention to detail to ensure that the delivery information is correct, checking the details multiple times.

Should you accidentally supply incorrect delivery details, I cannot be responsible if your parcel is unattainable, lost or damaged.

Returns Policy

I understand that sometimes when you get your purchase home, it just doesn’t look like you thought it would. If this happens please send an email to arrange a return. This must be done promptly as the artwork needs to be returned within 7 working days from delivery.

All that I ask is that the artwork must be repackage as it was when delivered, and I will arrange for the work to be picked up and returned. The cost of return shipping will be covered by the purchaser and subtracted from the amount refunded once the art has been received. If the art is returned in any condition less than when it was sent originally, the purchaser will have the cost subtracted from their refund.

​Returns are not available for items damaged in shipment. These will be covered as part of the insurance should you wish to insure the delivery and the purchaser will be covered for any damaged art bought from this website.
